Have you ever regretted reading a book — which one and why?
The Haunting Of Hill House by Shirley Jackson was that kind of book for me. Its atmosphere created an intense sense of fear, sadness,or psychological unease that lingered long after i finished reading.
It’s a powerful reminder that great horror doesn’t always rely on shocking moments,sometimes it gets under your skin through mood, ambiguity, and the things your mind imagines.
A brilliantly written book, but one i still regret reading alone at night!🤪
