Have you ever liked a villain more than the hero? Who and why?
It’s not because i want to be them. It’s because they do what we can’t!
Heroes follow rules. They represent who society tells us we should be disciplined, moral, and controlled.
Villains like The Joker break every rule. They say the things that we are not supposed to say. They act on the dark, chaotic impulses that we all have but they are forced to suppress to function in society.
Watching them feels liberating. For a moment,we get to live vicariously through someone with zero filter and zero consequences. They give a voice to the frustration,anger, and rebellion we have to hide everyday to be normal.
I don’t admire Villains because they are evil. I’m fascinated by them because they are free in a way we never can be!
