How do you write what people actually want to read?
- Start with a clear hook. You have about 3 seconds to earn attention. Lead with a bold question,a surprising fact,or a relatable problem. If the first line doesn’t make them stop scrolling, nothing else matters.
- Use simple language. You are not writing to impress, you are writing to connect. Short sentences. Everyday words. If a 5th grader can understand it instantly, you are doing it right. Clarity always beats cleverness.
- Solve a real problem for a specific person. Don’t try to write for everyone. Pick one audience and one painful problem they have right now. Give them a tangible takeaway they can use today.
Stop trying to go viral and start trying to be valuable. When you nail the hook, keep it simple, and serve one person really well, the right audience will find you and keep coming back!š
